This engine was mint when I got it, but I decided to rebuild it anyway. There was absolutly no ridge on the cylinder walls, and the clearances are all with in factory spec. -Stock exhaust manifold and down pipe in A1 condition -Pierce Manifolds 60mm intake manifold $$$ -Modified front coolant flange -Weber 45mm Sidedraft carbs plus assorted jets and chokes etc. -Various different linkage pieces all included - Approx. 20 feet of 5/8 stainless braided fuel line with aeroquip fittings -5 position fuel presure regulator -Low pressure fuel pump -Saab 900 non turbo distributor -diesel alternator and bracket for mounting there might be a few other things, I'll have to look through my pile and include them. The engine has been rebuilt since last Sept, and is sitting on a stand at work. The carbs and other assorted fuel delivery parts are on my 8v rocco and were still being used up till a few weeks ago. The engine is coming out saturday, and the carbs, along with everything else will be packaged on a skid and sitting at the back door waiting for a destination. The reason is that I have a very good deal on a 1.8T and I just feel the need for boost. The setup above will be good for at least 135-140hp to the wheels, maybe more. I was going to do extensive dyno testing in the spring and then run it in Solo II. At the drag strip I'm sure you'd be doing 14's all day long. I also have a 16v passat trans with flywheel, clutch, linkage, etc that I was going to use with it. I can also set you up with the proper pressure fuel pump for the motronic system for A1, A2, or A3 style pump mounting. I have to have $2500 for the complete setup. The only thing you'll have to engineer is the exhaust down pipe from the turbo which most reputable muffler shops should be able to do. Engine would obviously work with a 02A trans as well but the passat box is stronger.
